We give an opportunity to organize a TV-radio distribution network system as well as to create the so-called Uplinks, i.e. the use of the recourse provided by Satcomline gateway for up linking of TV-signal or the whole package of TV-signals to the satellite.
The ordinary scheme of regional TV distribution network is organized in the following way: the Central transmitting broadcasting station passes the signal to GEO satellite, from which in its turn, the signal is transmitted to receiving terminal network. The terminal which has DVB-S /S2 receiver gives an output analogue TV signal, usually in SECAM or PAL standard; it is attached to the input port of broadcasting receiver with antenna and feeder transmission line, which in its turn broadcast to the local zone (city or town). In view of the coming transition to digital broadcasting standards, the above described scheme may be changed in the following way: DVB-S/S2 receiver should have ASI or SDI output for transmitting the received signal to the local broadcasting equipment in digital format.
Central broadcasting transmission station, due to the fact that there are strict requirements to its reliability, has a backed- up 1:1 RF Equipment, antenna deicing, TV compression complex equipment system backed-up 1:1.
When it is needed to uplink TV channel or the whole package of channels from Kazakhstan, it is very convenient to use the services provided by Satcomline gateway, as in this case our client doesn't have to spend time and large investments on creation and maintaining antenna- transmitting complex as well as for obtaining approvals for the work.
